Mezzo soprano, Linda Mindlin, holds a degree in voice performance and education from Westminster Choir College and has completed numerous graduate courses and seminars in vocal pedagogy.
In addition to teaching private lessons, she is a choral vocal coach and has directed children’s choirs. She has performed as soloist in recitals and in oratorio and concerts with area orchestras and choral ensembles. She has also appeared in opera, operetta and musical theater, including roles in The Magic Flute, L'enfant et les sortileges, The Gondoliers, The Mikado, Carousel and Guys & Dolls. Ms Mindlin has most recently appeared locally with the Westminster Community Orchestra and the Princeton Society of Musical Amateurs. She performs annually in Westminster Conservatory concerts and recitals singing repertoire of all styles, including premiere works by contemporary composers.
She is the recipient of various awards, including first place winner in a National Association of Teachers of Singing, of which she is now a member.
She teaches students of all levels as well as preparing students for college auditions. Her students have won various student competitions.
She holds a full time faculty position as member of the voice faculty at Westminster Conservatory of Music.
