Joseph d’Auguste enjoys a versatile career as a performer and educator. He has performed extensively throughout the United States and abroad, including the American Repertory Ballet, New Jersey State Opera, Staten Island Philharmonic, Garden State Philharmonic, Garden State Concert Band, and the US Open. He has also appeared at the White House in Washington DC, as well as at Phillies Stadium.
Recently, d’Auguste performed as guest soloist with the Iona College Ensemble, Rutgers University Symphony Band, and Sinfonietta Nova. Also a chamber musician, d’Auguste regularly performs concerts with the Bergen Chamber Players and Musical Chairs Chamber Ensemble.
Outside of performing, d’Auguste teaches clarinet and saxophone. Many of his students have been awarded positions in the Regional, All-State, and All-Eastern Festivals, and have taken prizes at competitions in both the United States and throughout Asia. d’Auguste currently serves as clarinet and saxophone teacher at the Professional Music Academy and Westminster Conservatory.
