As a native of the Princeton area, Jesse Freedman began his studies in classical guitar at the age of 10 at Westminster Conservatory with Monica Mugan. Since then he has gone on to study with some of most sought after guitar instructors including Kami Rowan at Guilford College and William Kanengiser and Scott Tennant at the University of Southern California. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Guilford College and a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California.
Jesse has performed in master classes for many of the most esteemed figures in the guitar world including Roland Dyens, Judicael Perroy, and Pepe Romero. He holds a variety of prizes and accolades from several international guitar competitions including First Prize at the 2012 Pacific Guitar Competition. Jesse has performed on stages all over the US and in Europe as both a soloist and chamber musician.
