Janice Hofreiter received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Westminster Choir College. She presented numerous premieres of her husband’s works, including performances at The Juilliard School. She has served as organist and/or choir director in Philadelphia area churches since age 15. She is currently organist and choir director of Lutheran Church of the Messiah in Princeton, New Jersey. She has adjudicated for the Mary Simon Gindhardt Piano Competition.

Ms. Hofreiter was Music Master at The Pennington School from 1973-1988, serving as choral director, organist, vocal coach and teacher of grades 7-12. She was Director of Music (grades K-12) and French teacher at Hope Christian School, 2001-08; and taught piano and organ at The Lawrenceville School. She currently teaches piano at the Westminster Conservatory of Music and in her home studio.
