German Cardenas, holds a BA in Architecture from National University in Mexico City (UNAM) and a MFA from Yale School of Drama in Scenic Design. He has assisted, designed and co designed in both Mexico and the USA. He started working at Rider last January 2011 as an adjunct teacher and he was the Technical Director for “The Last Days of Judas Iscariot” and “The Importance of Being Ernest”. Part of his work in Mexico includes musicals like “The Producers” (International Tour), “Hoy no me puedo levantar,” and while at Yale School of Drama “Jelly’s last Jam” and “Eclipsed” for the Yale Repertory Theater which won for best Outstanding Production from Connecticut Critics Circle. He was a recipient of the Mexican National Fund for the Culture and the Arts (FONCA) from 2007 to 2010.
