Pianist, singer and vocal pedagogue Eva Kastner-Puschl is a native of Graz, Austria. She began her piano studies at the age of 8 at the Johann-Joseph-Fux Conservatory in Graz, with, among others, Josef Hofer, Jeanine Kies and Bernadette Murnig. She deepened her music skills studying Music Education and Instrumental Music Education at the University for Music and Performing Arts, Graz, majoring in piano and voice under the guidance of Andreas Woyke and Agathe Kania-Knobloch. Ms. Kastner-Puschl moved to Princeton in January, 2011 to study Voice Pedagogy and Performance with Dr. Arneson at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, receiving the Master of Music degree with distinction in August 2012.
Ms. Kastner-Puschl has engaged in master classes, ensemble playing, and as accompanist for both soloists and choirs. She desires most of all to inspire in her students the same great passion and love for music she herself feels. Currently she serves as singer and organist at Witherspoon Presbyterian Church in Princeton.
