Westminster Community Orchestra: Conservatory Showcase

This performance is a wonderful display of youth and the power of music to bring out the best in them. The program features many ensembles from the Westminster Conservatory of Music performing together for one afternoon.

The program features Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet Suite No. 2, M. James' Fanfare (world premiere),Villa-Lobos' Fantasy for Soprano Saxophone, Gounod's "Que fais tu" from Romeo and Juliet, Crusell's Clarinet Concert No. 2, Bernstein's "Gloria tibi" from Mass, Fauré's "Sanctus" from Requiem, and arrangements from Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition and Holst's Jupiter.
