Scholarships

Every year, Capital Health awards up to four full-tuition scholarships to eligible full-time Capital Health employees or their immediate family members. The fall 2024 scholarship application deadline has passed. Employees who have any questions should contact Madison Becker, Capital Health navigator for Rider University, at [email protected]. Supplemental materials may be required and additional criteria may need to be met for eligibility and consideration.

Rider University offers flexible pathways to help you reach your educational goals while balancing your current commitments.

Opportunities:

  • Earn an associate degree, bachelor’s, master’s or certificate
  • Finish faster by transferring academic credits
  • GRE/GMAT test scores may be waived for graduate program applicants

*Capital Health non-union employees and their immediate family members are eligible to receive a fifty percent (50%) discount on all tuition-based educational services at Rider ("Tuition Discount"). Full-time as well as part-time and per-diem employees can take advantage of this benefit. Per diems must have a minimum 500 hours within the prior 6 months and maintain that level commitment while receiving the discount. Participants must meet all applicable Rider-defined admission criteria. Employees' "immediate family members" under applicable New Jersey law include (a) spouses, domestic partners and other individuals granted similar status and (b) children, whether by natural birth, adoption, guardianship or other legal process. Tuition Discount cannot be applied to coursework completed at Rider prior to employee verification and cannot be applied to cover room and board or books/course materials. Tuition Discount cannot be combined with other institutional scholarships, grants or discounts.
