Application Fee Waiver Instructions
Institutional Fee Waiver
To qualify for a Rider University Institutional Fee Waiver you will need to have prior approval from the Rider University Office of Admission. The methods to receive this approval are:
- Receiving the Rider Student Advantage Application (by mail and/or email)
- Approval by an Admission Counselor from the Rider University Office of Admission.
If you meet one of the above requirements, please select “Other Fee Waiver Request” as your Common Application payment method and click continue - there is no additional paperwork to complete. Please remember that this only submits your payment for the Common Application. Make sure to submit your Application (from the Signature Tab) and your Supplement.
Rider Student Advantage Application
Your fee will automatically be waived when using the Rider Student Advantage Application. You will be able to submit the Rider Student Advantage Application without paying an application fee by using the User Name and Password you received with the application.
College Board Fee Waiver, National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC)
Based on your family income or other circumstances where providing the application fee would present a financial hardship you may be eligible to apply for a College Board or NACAC fee waiver. Please contact your school counselor to see if you are eligible and your school counselor will submit the fee waiver to Rider. We will accept a Fee Waiver Request if signed by your school counselor. College Board and NACAC Fee Waivers may be used with either the Rider University Application or the Common Application.
*Application fee waivers are not available for international applicants.
