Applying to Rider is easy!
Start by accessing the right application for you.

First-Year Students
You are a first-year student if:

• You will be attending a college or university for the first time, even if you have a substantial number of AP or IB credits.
• You are a high school student who has completed coursework at a college or university during high school.
• International students, see below.
• Apply as a First-Year Student.

Transfer Students
You are a transfer student if:

• You attended a college or university and have taken college credits at another institution since graduating from high school.
• International students, see below.
• Apply as a Transfer Student.

International Students
You are an international student if:

• You are a first-year or transfer student who plans to study at Rider while on a visa.
• You have attended secondary school and/or university outside the United States.
• Apply as an International Student.

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
You are an Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) student if:

• You are a United States Citizen and a resident of New Jersey.
• You are applying as a degree-seeking, first-year student planning on attending college full-time.
• You meet the EOP eligibility requirements.
• Apply to the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP).

Admitted Students
You are an admitted student if:

• You have received a letter from the university stating that you have been admitted to Rider - Congratulations!
• Admitted Students Next Steps

Continuing Education Students
You are a Continuing Education Student if:

• You wish to attend college part time to work towards completion of a degree.
• You wish to take course for professional development or on a non-degree basis only.
• Learn more about applying to the College of Continuing Studies.
