If you accept the Rider University offer of admission, you will need to submit your deposit(s) to secure your place in our entering class.
Your tuition deposit is non-refundable.

Deposit Due Dates
- For admission offers dated later than April 17, deposits are due within two weeks of the date of your admission letter.
Important Information About Deposit Deadlines
- If you are uncertain about your deposit due date, consult your acceptance packet. Deposits received after the due date will be accepted on a space-available basis.
- Housing for the first year is guaranteed only if all deposits and forms are received by May 2. Housing is assigned on a space-available basis to students whose deposits are received after May 2.
To make your deposit online, you’ll need to access your myRider student portal at myRider.rider.edu. If you pay online you will not need to submit the Admission Decision Form. Payment of the tuition deposit online secures your seat in the entering class.
Note: If you have been admitted through the EOP program, you must pay by check, money order, or by phone using a credit card. See below for instructions.
To pay online follow these easy steps:
Visit the myRider Portal
Sign in using your Rider username and password (found in your acceptance letter), which consists of your Bronc ID followed by the four digit month and date of your birth. (e.g. Bronc ID of 001234567 and a birth date of May 1 would be password 0012345670501)
Click the "Student Information" tab in the top left corner.
Locate the "Steps to enrolling at Rider" channel and within that channel, click "Pay my Deposit".
Click on the "eDeposits" tab at the top (Do not select the Payments tab).
Select the appropriate term.
If you will be:
a) Living on campus at Rider, choose "Fall - Tuition & Housing ($400)" to make a deposit for tuition and housing.
b) Commuting, choose "Fall - Tuition Only ($200)" to make a tuition deposit only
Select "Make Deposit Payment".
Select your payment method (credit card or electronic check) and click "Continue". Enter your payment information and click "Continue".
- Confirm your payment information and click "Submit Payment".
- A confirmation email will be sent to your Rider University email account.
If you have already paid your commuter tuition deposit and would like to live on campus you may go back to step 9 and choose “Fall- Housing Only ($200)” deposit to make your housing deposit.
If you have paid a housing deposit, the Office of Residence Life will contact you at a later date via email regarding your housing application.

Paying By Check or Money Order
Please make your check or money order payable to Rider University. If you will not be living on campus, please pay only the tuition deposit. If you plan to live on campus, you may send one check or money order covering both your tuition deposit and your housing deposit. Please consult your acceptance packet for amounts required. If you would like to pay your deposit by phone, please call (609) 896-5390.
Please include your full name and Bronc ID (see the bottom of your acceptance letter) on your check or money order.
Please send your payment along with your Admission Decision Form.
