The Business Administration Major will provide students with a general business focus, and is appropriate for students who do not want to concentrate in a particular functional area, but instead intend to pursue one of the following goals:
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) program - taught by the prestigious College of Business Administration faculty - prepares students for success in today's complex workplace. Accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), Rider University's College of Business Administration is the only business school in the state of New Jersey that holds an additional accreditation for its Accounting program of study. The AACSB International represents the highest standard of accreditation for business schools internationally.
Learn new skills with Rider University’s Certificates in Business. Taught by the distinguished College of Business Administration (CBA) faculty, the certificates in Business will help prepare you for the challenges of today’s workplace. If you already hold an undergraduate degree in an area other than business and want to get ahead in your career, or are looking to prepare for graduate study of business, then our Business certificates will help you reach those goals.
Rider University students successfully completing the business education requirements will be comprehensively certified to teach the following: Accounting, banking and insurance, business computer applications, business law, business communications, business mathematics, economics and finance, entrepreneurship; international business; keyboarding; business management; business organization, marketing; office administration/office systems technology; and exploration in business related careers.
The Business Honors Program at Rider - created exclusively for business majors enrolled in the College of Business Administration - differs from the Baccalaureate Honors Program (BHP), which is open to all qualifying undergraduate students in the University community.  Although the core benefits of both programs are essentially the same - smaller class sizes with a group of highly motivated and intelligent peers - the requirements and structure of each program differ greatly.
