Laptop Loaner Program
The Moore and Talbott Libraries have Dell laptop computers for loan.  The laptops can be checked out from the circulation desk for use inside of the Library by Rider University students only. The computers are loaned for a period of two (2) hours and are not allowed to leave the library. They are equipped with Windows OS, Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers, Microsoft Office, and anti-virus software installed. The laptops have a wireless network card so that they can get on the Internet using the wireless access points located inside of the building. Wireless access points in Moore Library are located in the main seating area on the third floor of the building and in the reference area on the second floor of the building near the new periodicals. These access points provide wireless network access to almost all public areas of the Library - including the study rooms on the second and third floors. If you have your own laptop computer with a wireless card, you may use it in either library. A late fee in the amount of $20.00 will be charged for not bringing the computer back on time. If the computer is lost a fee of $1700.00 will be charged.
