Professional Experience

Dr. William Amadio is an award-winning teacher, author and consultant with more than 35 years experience in the IT industry. He earned a Ph.D. in mathematics in 1975 from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn in New York City. He is currently Professor of Computer Information Systems and Director of the Center for Business Forensics at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. A data mining specialist, he is the inventor of The Exploration Engine, an advanced search technology designed for litigation support and business intelligence. In the classroom, Dr. Amadio practices problem-based learning which emphasizes hands-on exercises and student-student interactions.
