This course is designed for those with little or no handbell experience and provides a strong founda tion in handbell ringing. Topics include: history of handbells, explanation and care of the instrument, equipment and set-up, basic ringing and damping, understanding the handbell score, assignments, ring ing multiple bells, special ringing techniques, stopped sounds, handbells with children, resources, repertoire and more.
