Now in its 31st year, Piano Camp is a unique and exciting musical experience for high school students. Led by Professor Ingrid Clarfield, pianists are inspired by an outstanding faculty as they explore the joy of learning and performing solo and ensemble repertoire. In group classes, they address such topics as: performance anxiety, technique, music history, careers in music, and preparing for college auditions. The week culminates with a recital in Bristol Chapel on Westminster's campus.
This residential program offers young musicians the opportunity to develop their playing skills, learn more about the fundamentals of music theory, composition and history, and share in the joy of making music together.
