Immerse yourself in a weekend of music-making with Suzuki students and teachers! This workshop includes Every Child Can! for teachers and parents, a Pre-Twinkle violin class, and the core student workshop for violinists and pianists in Suzuki Books 1 – 5. We'll kick off the weekend with a play-in on Friday evening, offer master classes, group classes, and enrichment classes with our renowned clinicians throughout the weekend, and end on Sunday with a concert for all participants. Summer is a perfect time of the year for musical motivation! Come enjoy a quality Suzuki Weekend in your own backyard. Make new friends while sharing the joy of making music!

Prerequisite
Students participating in the full workshop must have polished their Twinkles. Participants will be placed in master classes and group classes according to age and repertoire. As with any Suzuki workshop, festival, or institute, repertoire must be played from memory, and parents or caregivers are required to attend classes.

Schedule
All participants will attend group and enrichment classes on Saturday and Sunday. Each student will also participate in one master class with one of our clinicians, with the option to sign up for an additional master class (additional $40 tuition fee). Parents will attend a special talk on Saturday. Each day of the workshop will include either a play-in or a concert.

*Some master classes will be scheduled on Friday between 3:00 and 7:00 PM. Please indicate on the registration form if you are available during this time.

NEW this year: Pre-Twinkle Violin Class
On Saturday, July 12 at 3:15 PM, we will offer a Pre-Twinkle class for beginner violinists (those who have not yet mastered Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and variations). Students must already have a private Suzuki violin teacher. Movement, posture, rhythm, and singing activities will be used to enhance foundational skills. Students who enroll in the Pre-Twinkle Class will also have the opportunity to participate in one enrichment class on Saturday.

Location
The New Jersey Suzuki Workshop and Pre-Twinkle Class will be held on the campus of Westminster Choir College in Princeton. Directions will be included in the confirmation packet.
