NEW this year
Summer Orchestra Week and Summer Band Week are new camps for band and orchestra students who started an instrument in school this year and would like to continue playing in an ensemble during the summer. Students will receive a small group lesson each day to prepare them for the large ensemble rehearsal. Campers will share what they have learned by presenting a concert on the final day of camp. If you want to improve your sight-reading, learn new songs, make friends from other schools, and get a head start so you can be on top of your game for the coming school year, this camp is for you.
Westminster Conservatory welcomes Mary Schmidt and Jacqueline Zoladz Watson to our 2014 summer camps faculty. Conducting the band and orchestra alongside a talented team of Westminster Conservatory faculty, students can expect a terrific experience and will see a real boost in their playing in just one week!
