Camp Director: Jennifer Garr
Assistant Camp Director: Matthew LaPine
Grades 2 – 4**
Three one-week camps (dates listed below)
9:15 AM – 12:15 PM
Originally requested by previous Musical Jamboree campers and families, Rainbows, Rhythms, and Ringing has developed into a program all its own where elementary school-aged children can experience a themed, musical summer program at a more advanced level. Throughout the morning, children will have an arts experience where they will participate in activities that pique their curiosity. Participants will develop their vocal ability through voice class training, play in ensembles using choir chimes and Orff instruments, use their bodies in advanced singing and movement games, and create art projects that relate to the daily theme. It's not to be missed by any child who loves to make music!
Rainbows, Rhythms, and Ringing offers three sessions. Each session runs for one week and offers a different theme. Families may choose to register for any number of weeks (see fee schedule below).
**Open to children entering grades 2 through 4 in fall 2015.
12 children per session
Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 9:15AM – 12:15PM. Provisions may be made for before- and after-camp care (8:15AM – 1:15PM) at an additional cost; AM and PM care fees are available from Early Childhood Department Head Jennifer Garr. For further information, contact Mrs. Garr at 609-921-7104 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please let Mrs. Garr know if your child has any medical concerns about which we need to be aware prior to the start of camp.
Rainbows, Rhythms, and Ringing will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, located on Cherry Hill Road just off Route 206, only 5 minutes from the Westminster Choir College campus and downtown Princeton. All classrooms are air-conditioned with adjoining privacy bathrooms.
**Due to allergy concerns, each camper is to bring in a NUT-FREE daily snack from home. Families will be asked to provide allergy information, for the safety of all.
