Three one-week camps (dates listed below)
9:15AM – 11:15AM
Now in its seventh year, this two-hour mini-camp for the very young provides a music and art experience for children with caregivers. In a 30-minute music session, children and adults will sing, move, dance, play instruments, and chant finger plays and rhymes centered around the weekly theme. The remainder of the morning includes an opening session, musical play, free-play (outside – weather permitting), story time, art time, and an end-of-morning wrap-up session. Daily themes listed below are as of brochure printing deadline and may be revised slightly prior to the start of camp.
Requirement
**Children must meet the age requirement as of July 1, 2013.
Maximum Enrollment
Each week is limited to 16 children accompanied by an adult caregiver. In case of maximum enrollment, smaller sub-groups will be created to allow children and caregivers to enjoy an optimum experience of all activities. All registered campers will receive a Westminster Conservatory T-shirt (see registration form).
Schedule
Each session runs for one week and offers a different theme. Families may choose to sign up for any number of weeks (see fee schedule below).
Location
Beach Beats will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, located on Cherry Hill Road just off Route 206, only 5 minutes from the Westminster Choir College campus and downtown Princeton. All Beach Beats classrooms are air-conditioned with adjoining privacy bathrooms and diaper-change facilities. Directions will be sent in the confirmation packet.

Each day of this round-the-world journey focuses on a story from a different country or region. Through stories and poetry, we will explore culture and music from each part of the world.

Fees include a Westminster Conservatory T-shirt. Children attending more than one week will receive their T-shirt the first week of their camp experience.
A non-refundable deposit of $35 per session is due with the camp application. The balance is due by June 1. Registrations received after June 1 must pay in full. Cancellations after June 1 will receive a refund (less deposit) if another student can be placed from a waiting list.
