Develop your knowledge of the structure and function of the brain to understand the complex relationship between the brain and behavior in humans and animals. Learn from engaged, Ph.D. level faculty who’ll serve as your mentors in the classroom and research colleagues in the field.

Program requirements

Our program explains foundational concepts in biological sciences through interdisciplinary coursework, laboratory courses and extensive opportunities for applied learning.

Experiences to prepare you

We emphasize beginning your laboratory and fieldwork experiences early in your college career. Take part in Rider’s three-week internship courses offered through the Capital Health System hospitals, participate in summer research alongside your favorite professor and benefit from other off-site internship opportunities.
