Program overview

Learn to apply communication best practices in health care settings with a minor in health communication. This minor includes a curriculum of theory, research and application, focusing on health issues in the interpersonal, organizational, public and mass-mediated contexts.

Minor requirements

Our 25-credit minor focuses on analyzing different health care contexts, how to accommodate increasingly diverse populations and strategies to enhance communication with patients, colleagues, peers, and family members/caregivers.
