Tuition and Scholarships

Higher education is one of the most important and often biggest investments of your life, and it carries privileges and benefits long after you've received your degree. Rider strives to help you and your family become familiar with and navigate the complexities of financial assistance. And, we make every effort to help you afford your education.

Tuition
Cost per credit for the RN to BSN program is $530. Students can choose to enroll full or part-time at the same cost per credit rate.

Dean's Scholar Awards
Dean's Scholar Awards are available to CCS incoming and re-admitted students who register for at least six (6) credits during their first semester at the University. The award amounts vary and are subject to the available funds. The awards may be renewed to include one consecutive semester, provided that students enroll in at least two courses (6 credits) in each semester.

Charlotte W. Newcombe Scholarships
The Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation and Rider University have established a fund to provide scholarships for mature second-career women. All Rider University women, age 25 or older, who have completed at least 60 credits toward a baccalaureate degree program, are eligible to apply for partial tuition assistance. Applicants may be enrolled part-time or full-time. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of clarity of career goals, financial need and academic record.

Corporate Deferred Payment Plan or Third-Party Sponsorship
Students who are eligible for company or other third-party tuition remission may qualify for our Corporate or Third-Party Sponsorship agreement. There is a $25 application fee for the plan. Upon signing the agreement, tuition payment is deferred until the end of each summer session.
