The College of Continuing Studies established the Ann Giovanelli Awards in memory of Ann Giovanelli, an alumna whose battle against cancer did not prevent her from reaching her dream of earning a Rider degree. Ann graduated from Rider summa cum laude in December of 2006, and passed away shortly thereafter.
This award is given annually to a student who achieves excellence in the classroom while overcoming significant life’s challenges and to a faculty member who exhibits Rider’s commitment to adult learners.
