Accounting Society Officers

President: Dana Kaplan
Dana Kaplan ’14, is a senior Accounting major with a concentration in Business Forensics. Apart from being the president of Accounting Society, she also works as a student worker in the accounting department. After interning with EisnerAmper last spring, she accepted a full time offer and will be starting in the audit department next fall. She plans to obtain certifications as a CPA and CFE. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and listening to music.

Vice President: Eurico David
Eurico David ’14, MAcc ‘15  is a senior Accounting major with a Fraud and Business Forensics concentration.  Apart from being the Vice President, Eurico is an active member of Beta Alpha Psi, an honors fraternity for Accounting, Finance, and CIS majors.  He has recently completed an assurance co-op with PricewaterhouseCoopers and will be joining the firm in 2015 after he obtains his Masters of Accountancy.  Eurico also plans to obtain certifications as a CPA, CFE, and CIA.  When not in class or on campus, Eurico works part time as waiter, plays various sports, and does automotive photography."

Treasurer: Brian Sanchez
Brian Sanchez ‘14 is a Senior Accounting and Finance major. He enjoys meeting interacting with people and apart from being the treasurer; Brian is actively involved in other organizations on campus. He is the Vice President of Finance for Delta Sigma Pi, a business fraternity on campus. He is also a mentor for the International Student Mentor Program at Rider and an active member of the Rider University Aspiring Accountant Professional Program. He likes to get heavily involve on campus so he doesn’t miss out on any new experiences and people. This past year, Brian was a tax intern at Wills Owens and Baker. He says that he learned a lot about the tax profession that will help him later on in his career. During his free time, Brian likes to hang out with friends and create his own music.

Secretary: Dhara Trivedi
Dhara Trivedi ‘15, is a junior Accounting major with a concentration in Fraud and Business Forensics concentration.  Apart from being secretary, Dhara is also an active member of Beta Alpha Psi and the campus representative for Roger CPA Review. Upon graduating in 2015, Dhara hopes to work for in either public of cooperate, or governmental accounting. She also plans to obtain the CPA certification.  During her spare time, Dhara enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing.

Community Service: Kimberly Amato
Kimberly Amato ’15 is a Junior Accounting major at Rider. Kimberly is Community Service Chair for the Accounting Society and is also involved in Alpha Lambda Delta and Beta Gamma Sigma. She has interned with the public accounting firm of Withum Smith + Brown for the past year in Princeton, NJ. In the spring, she will start a Co-Op with Withum Smith + Brown. After graduating with her Bachelors of Science in December 2014, she plans to continue her education at Rider and pursue a Masters of Accountancy degree. Upon graduating with her Masters of Accountancy degree in December 2015, she plans on studying for and becoming a Certified Public Accountant. During her free time, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her friends and running.

Public Relations: Victoria Marquardt
Victoria Marquardt ‘14 is a senior Accounting major with a minor in Spanish. Apart from being one of the Public Relations chairs for Accounting Society, Victoria is also the Event Planner for the Accounting department in the College of Business Administration, a Freshman Peer Mentor, and a tutor for the Student Success Center. After graduating with her Bachelors of Science in May 2014, she plans to continue her education at Rider and pursue the Masters of Accountancy degree. Victoria plans to obtain her CPA license and will be interning at Ernst & Young in the summer of 2014. During her free time she enjoys reading, working out and going out with her friends.

Public Relations: Lori Deturo
Lori DeTuro ‘15 is a junior Accounting Major with a concentration in Fraud and Business Forensics and a certificate in Leadership.  Apart from being the public relations chair, she is also a Resident Advisor in Olson Hall, a member of Rider's Finance Board, and in the Leadership Development Program.  Lori is also doing an internship for Tyco International in the Tax department.  Upon graduation, Lori will be pursuing her Masters of Accountancy and CPA.  In her free time, Lori enjoys reading or watching TV.
