Welcome to the College of Business Administration. On behalf of our students, faculty, and staff, I invite you to take a good look around our web site. Whether an undergraduate, graduate or executive training student you’ll find a curriculum focused on training tomorrow’s Business leaders. You’ll also find a blend of theory and practice, as well as an understanding that tomorrow’s leaders must develop a healthy understanding of and appreciation for the conduct of Global Business.
From a practical perspective, our extensive external partnerships with alumni, corporations and organizations, allow us to offer our students numerous opportunities for practical training. Whether participating in our internship program or our co-op program, students are provided with the opportunity to gain practical experience and apply what they learn in our classrooms.
I am proud to say we offer a variety of ways for our students to gain valuable Global Business experience. Through a vast network of partnerships with respected institutions of higher learning, students can choose to spend a semester abroad or possibly pursue an international internship. They may also consider our faculty-led short-term study abroad program. For the student who opts not to pursue an international experience, they will find a global experience awaits them in the classroom, as they study alongside American students, as well as the many international students who choose to pursue their studies at Rider.
In addition to our exciting curricular and co-curricular offerings, you’ll find an expanding menu of online offerings and mobile learning solutions to help make your education more accessible and flexible. You’ll also find Centers of Excellence focused on: leadership, international business, business forensics and entrepreneurship.
At the heart of the College of Business Administration is our faculty. I invite you to review our faculty web pages. You’ll find a highly trained team who are dedicated to providing their students with a challenging, yet supportive environment. You’ll also find a team of teacher-scholars, with substantial experience, many of whom are recognized experts in their fields. Their research breakthroughs and practical experience are what allow us to provide such an academically challenging, yet practical learning environment. Plus, with a focus on small class size and personal attention, the talent and expertise of our faculty has never been more accessible.
All of the above help explain why the College of Business Administration has been awarded accreditation from AACSB International for both Business and Accounting.
As you can see, the College of Business Administration is an exciting and vibrant place. Our goal is to prepare you for a global marketplace and to help you realize your leadership potential. I invite you to visit our campus and see for yourself the opportunities and excitement that make the College of Business Administration such a special place.
