The Executive MBA is a 46.5-credit, 16-month program, taught in an integrated group setting. While there are many students with undergraduate business degrees in the EMBA program, it is especially appropriate for individuals who have non-business backgrounds and/ or are transitioning to positions requiring business, management, and leadership skills. Also, a key goal of the program is to emphasize application of the information and skills being taught; therefore, students will find this emphasis throughout all aspects of the program.

EMBA Curriculum Overview Image

The EMBA program is comprised of three parts:

  • The Integrated Business Foundations portion of the program delivers coursework that is designed to provide the foundation of business concepts and basic leadership and team skills that all business professionals require;
  • The Advanced Courses portion of the program provides courses focused on current, advanced topics that aspiring executives need to be conversant in to effectively operate in the business environment (e.g., Leadership, Technology, Product Development).
  • Our program concludes with a capstone Strategic Management course designed to integrate the coursework covered in the previous portions of the program and demonstrates how effective business decision making requires a consideration of these factors.
