Graduate Business Student Association

The Graduate Business Association was originally formed in 1987 as a student only association. Today, the GBA includes both alumni and faculty in addition to current Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Accountancy (MAcc) students. The mission of the GBA is to enhance its members’ connectedness through a variety of professional, informational and social activities and events.

To foster interaction between graduate students, alumni and faculty, different networking events are scheduled throughout the semester, such as receptions, speakers, and Bronc sporting events. The CBA encourages students, faculty and alumni to participate and become as involved as their schedules allow.

The structure and activities of the Graduate Business Association are undergoing significant change and there never was a better time to get involved. GBSA Vision Statement

Recognizing that networking is a critical tool for professional and personal success, the GBA will strive to:

  • Be a catalyst for extending its members’ business and personal networks while embracing their current success and cultivating future accomplishments.
  • Create an effective, efficient, synergistic partnership between the GBA and Rider’s Graduate Business students/alumni, College of Business Administration, and faculty for career, employment, and business opportunities.
  • Assist Rider Graduate Business students and alumni in their professional development through knowledge sharing, business opportunities, career support and learning opportunities.
