The Interdisciplinary Minor in Special Education is designed for Rider University undergraduate students who are enrolled as elementary education majors with a second major in psychology. In addition to the courses required for the elementary education major, students enrolled in the minor program are required to take a specific sequence of courses within the psychology major.

The prescribed sequence of courses fulfill the requirements for a New Jersey Endorsement for Teacher of Students with Disabilities. Graduates of this dual licensure program also receive certification in elementary education.
