The Law Society is a student-run organization; Law and Justice faculty provide advice and assistance. The society sponsors lectures on law and the legal profession, arranges field trips to courts, government agencies, and law schools and has participated in state-wide mock trial competitions.
In additional to individual pre-law advising by Law and Justice Program faculty, the Law and Justice Program also has sponsored workshops on various aspects of career preparation and law school application process. For example, an experienced pre-law advisor has held “Personal Statement Workshops” designed to help students with this difficult and often vexing aspect of the law school application.
Law School Representatives
Representatives from various law schools have come to Rider University to discuss the process of applying to law schools generally and to their schools in particular. The Law and Justice Program, along with the Law Society, arranges and announces these visits.
