Attend Career fairs.
Work with your academic advisor/advisors to review your degree progress.
If you are a GLASS student (undeclared major) meet with an advisor in the Major(s) that you are considering; utilize the Classroom Visitation Program (CVP), cvp.rider.edu, to assist you in academic options.
Continue to assess your skills and strengths.
Work with your career advisor and academic advisor to explore connections between your interests, strengths, and potential careers.
Begin to explore and plan for experiences that will help you clarify your goals and interests, (part-time employment, internships, studying abroad, job shadowing, volunteering, etc.).

If you plan to go to graduate school, find out about requirements and entrance exams.
Attend Career fairs.
Consider potential faculty for letters of recommendation.
Discuss plans with your academic advisor: practice articulating what you are studying and why.
Review your degree progress with your Academic Advisor.
Take advantage of internship, employment, shadowing, and study abroad experiences.
Seek positions of leadership on campus. Consider doing research with a professor in a supervised study or, for science students, explore on or off campus laboratory or field research opportunities.

Research employment at www.onetonline.org, visit Broncs Career Link, graduate school options, (attend graduate school workshops) and start applying.
Complete your portfolio, cover letters and resume making sure they are updated and you are marketing your experiences strongly.
Continue networking and practice marketing your skills and education to employers at networking events such as panels and career fairs.
