This exclusive career fair is free for service members, veterans, and spouses and will be held at Rider University. The Veteran Career Fair will offer veterans and their family members the chance to explore educational, technical, and career.  In addition to the career fair, breakout sessions will be provided on various career paths, transitioning from the military to civilian life, and other related sessions.

For Employers

Like you, those of us at Rider University consider today’s unemployment rate to be a primary concern for our students, our greater community, and, indeed, the nation at large.  Among the most vulnerable members of our society to be affected by unemployment are our nation’s veterans.  Statistics provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics indicate the unemployment rate among veterans is 12.7%  –  4.5% higher than the national average. 

Rider seeks to address this issue by mobilizing employers and others who would like to support our country’s veterans.  The Career Fair will provide an opportunity for companies, large and small, to speak with veterans and their family members about job opportunities.
