Our 120-credit finance program supports your exploration of core business principles and strategies in a wide range of disciplines, such as accounting, marketing, business analytics and more. To round out your growth as a professional, you also study leadership techniques, embark on career planning and fine-tune your written and verbal communication.

Rider finance alumni have gone on to work at distinguished firms, including Bloomberg, BlackRock, Dow Jones, Goldman Sachs and JP MorganChase.

We guarantee that you’ll secure an entry-level position or acceptance into a graduate or professional program within six months of graduation. If you don’t, we’ll provide focused career coaching and, at Rider's discretion, either additional undergraduate coursework at no cost or a paid internship to get you one step closer to your professional goals.

Equipped with strategic business insights and analytical capabilities, finance majors find careers regionally and globally in business, government service and the nonprofit sector. They use their keen financial management and risk assessment skills to guide an organization’s decision-making and support long-term growth in ever-changing economic environments.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates the employment of financial managers will grow by 17% over the next 10 years, offering plenty of room for advancement. Financial managers can also expect a median annual salary of $156,100, which is more than triple the national average income of $48,060.
