About the Program
The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Rider University will be offering a free, seven week entrepreneurship program in the summer of 2014. This program will have veterans develop a business plan to explore a venture idea or guide an existing business, and will take place at Rider's Lawrenceville campus. During the first week of the program, students will participate in workshop on accounting fundamentals, scheduled for June 17th, and is then followed by another workshop on June 19th regarding library research skills. The next 6 weeks will be comprised of once a week classroom sessions and veterans will be creating their plan as they learn.
The class size is limited to 15 students to allow for instructor feedback and individualized attention, which is vital during the business plan creation process.
