RU4VETS: Rider University Veterans Association
The goals of Rider University Veterans Association are:
- To offer collaborative support and encouragement to the University’s veteran population and military service members in achieving their academic goals. The motto of RU4VETS is “Keep on target: Achieve academic success”.
- To foster communication with the Rider community, providing accurate information regarding issues affecting the veteran and military service population.
- To offer updated entitlement and benefit information for veterans and military service members. Guest speakers from the US Department of Veteran Affairs and the State of New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will be invited to campus.
What RU4VETS stands for – the number 4 represents the original number of Rider veterans who formed the first student veteran’s student organization. RU stands for Rider University and its commitment to provide guidance and support to veterans, military service members and their families.
