How does a student successfully complete RAP?
To complete RAP successfully and matriculate to a Rider University major, students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 at the end of the freshman year, successfully complete the Freshman Seminar course, and participate in tutoring and workshop opportunities.
How are students rewarded for completing the program?
- Students are permitted to matriculate into the degree program of their choice.
- Students achieving a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA are permitted to enroll in one 3-credit course during the Rider Summer Session 1 immediately following their freshman year at no charge.
- Students achieving a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA and showing leadership traits are eligible for The Rider Advantage.
- Students that do not meet the eligibility requirements for The Rider Advantage and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 are eligible to receive the RAP Completion Grant, a renewable grant valued from $1,000 to $2,000 per year.
