| Individual Career Counseling |
| Individual appointments may be scheduled with a career counselor to discuss career planning activities such as identifying interests and skills, starting a job search campaign, resume writing, and obtaining information on the graduate school application process. |
| Career Assessment |
| Under the guidance of a career counselor, students may take advantage of a variety of assessment tools designed to help match skills and abilities or majors to the world of work. Career Services offers computerized versions of the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. |
| Internships/Externships |
| The Career Services Office is pleased to offer information about non-credit, paid/unpaid internship opportunities to qualified students. Internships for academic credit can be arranged through the Faculty Coordinator. Resource information on internships is available in the office. Internships provide students with quality career-related experience before graduation. |
| Graduate Study |
| Students are encouraged to use individual career counseling to develop their graduate school plans. Counselors can provide information on the application process and assist by proofreading essay statements. In addition, graduate school guidebooks and information on graduate school web sites are available. |
| Job Listings and Broncs Career Link |

Online job listings are available. There is no fee for this service. A variety of job listings are accessible through Broncs Career Link (registration required).
In addition, information about full-time and part-time internships and summer positions is located in the office.
New institutional subscription to New England Conservatory's Bridge: Worldwide Music Connection. The service provides 24 hour online access to 3,000 opportunities in music and arts administration. New listings for auditions, teaching positions, administrative positions, competitions, grants, scholarships, and festivals are posted every day.

| Workshops |
| Upon request, Career Services will present workshops on career topics to specific classes, clubs and organizations on campus. Topics include career exploration, resume writing, and interviewing techniques. A make-up workshop is offered in the spring. Handbooks are available on various career-related topics. |
| Mock Interviews |
| A career counselor will coach students in interviewing techniques and role-play an actual interview. Feedback is provided. |
| Career Talks/Faculty Panels |
| Alumni are invited to Career Talks to speak about their career path and to offer tips on getting started in a chosen career area. Faculty Panels consist of faculty members and possibly also alumni. Career-related topics are selected by faculty and the Career Services office. Both of these events are open to all students, undergraduate and graduate. |
| Credentials Files |
| A current file of references may be maintained in the Career Services office. Upon the candidate’s request, we will mail copies of reference letters to institutions where employment is sought. A file can be tailored for each specific position, incorporating those references which are most appropriate to that job. Copies are sent in an attractive cover, personalized with the candidate’s name and the title of the position. If preferred, reference letters may also be self-maintained. |
| Alumni Services |
| Alumni have access to resources in the Career Services office as well as web-based job listings and alumni networking. Alumni are eligible to utilize career counseling, assessments, resume writing and other job search assistance free of charge. Alumni may view all job listings through Broncs Career Link. |
