The program will feature contrasts of sound and style in works that range from François Couperin to Milton Babbitt. Among the works to be performed are Gabriel Fauré’s Les Berceaux, Leonard Bernstein’s Piccola Serenata, John Cage’s Music for Piano No. 20 and Milton Babbitt’s The Waltzer in the House. The program will also include compositions from the artists’ recording "Songs & Encores," recently released by Bridge Records.

Ms. Bettina, who has been a soloist with the Houston Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the American Composers Orchestra, and the Munich Philharmonic, will be a guest artist again next season with James Levine and The Met Chamber Ensemble. Goldsworthy is on the piano faculty at Westminster Choir College of Rider University and the Chamber Music Conference and Composers Forum of the East. He is the director of the New Works for Young Pianists Commissioning Project and is currently working with Institute for Advanced Study’s composer-in-residence Jon Magnussen on a set of compositions for his students.
