To know Margaret Kennard Johnson is to know an individual who is enthusiastic and passionate about life and the creative process.  She is an individual who still, after over 60 years of making art, delights in seeking to challenge herself by continually finding new materials to work with and new techniques that will inspire and stretch her creative energies.  These ideas have also been conveyed to her many students throughout her teaching career.  She hopes, “… to stretch their energies, with hopes that they would acquire a basis from which to explore and ultimately find their own ways with the visual language.”
