BRAHMS: Ein deutsches Requiem

Johannes Brahms' choral masterpiece presented in the majesty of Newark's Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart.  The 200-voice Westminster Symphonic Choir will be joined by two of the world's leading soloists - soprano Sally Wolf and baritone Thomas Hampson - for an unforgettable performance of what is considered to be the most comforting Requiem ever written.

Free Lecture: In conjunction with this performance Dr. Paul-André Bempéchat, visiting associate professor at Westminster College of the Arts' School of Fine and Performing Arts, will present a lecture entitled "Brahms' Requiem at the Threshold of Ecumenism" on Tuesday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Sweigart Auditorium on Rider University's campus in Lawrenceville, N.J. The public is invited to attend. Admission is free.
