Westminster Music Theater Presents Oklahoma!

Ginger Thatcher will direct and choreograph Westminster Music Theater’s production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!” on Friday, February 29 at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 1 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 2 at 3 p.m. in the Princeton Regional Schools Performing Arts Center at Princeton High School.  For tickets call 609-921-2663.


Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra Performs Music of Bach, Stravinsky Schubert and Rossini on February 10

The Kaleidoscope Chamber Series of Westminster Conservatory will present the Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra in a program of music by Bach, Stravinsky, Schubert and Rossini on Sunday, February 10 at 3:00 p.m.  The concert will take place in Gill Memorial Chapel on the Lawrenceville campus of Rider University. 


Westminster Welcomes Visiting Artists in February

Two leading musicians – organist Stefan Engels and conductor Earl Rivers - will visit Westminster in February.  The community is invited to attend several events presented by each at no charge.


Westminster has joined with six Princeton ensembles for A Princeton Christmas: For the Children of Africa

The Westminster Choir and the Westminster Concert Bell Choir have joined with six Princeton ensembles for "A Princeton Christmas: For the Children of Africa,” a recording released in November to raise funds for the School Feeding campaign of the United Nations World Food Program in Africa.


WWFM's Sounds Choral Features Westminster's Legacy on December 9

WWFM radio's popular Sounds Choral program will focus on Westminster Choir College Sunday, December 9 at 2 p.m. Recorded earlier this fall, the one-hour show, entitled "The Westminster Legacy," is hosted by Marjorie Herman and features a wide-ranging interview with Joe Miller, Westminster's director of choral activities.

Westminster Conservatory’s community ensembles are now scheduling auditions for their 2007-2008 season. 


Mediterra "Farm to Table" Dinner Will Benefit Westminster

Princeton’s renowned Mediterra Restaurant & Bar will host its second annual “Farm to Table” dinner at the County Corners Farm in West Amwell Township/Lambertville, NJ on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 4:00 p.m.  Proceeds fro the dinner will benefit Westminster Choir College of Rider University.

Westminster Choir College of Rider University graduates Kiera Duffy and Dísella Làrusdóttir sang in the Metropolitan Opera Council’s National Audition Grand Finals Concert on April 1 at the Met in New York. 
Westminster Presents Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms February 18

The Westminster Chapel Choir, conducted by Sun Min Lee, and the Westminster Conservatory Youth Chorale, conducted by Frank Abrahams, will present a concert that includes Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms and other works at the Princeton Regional Schools Performing Arts Center at Princeton High School on Sunday, February 18 at 3 p.m. 


Class of 2007 Publishes Westminster Faculty & Staff Cookbook

Westminster's Class of 2007 has assembled an array of creative culinary creations from Westminster’s multi-talented faculty and staff.  Proceeds from the sale of each book will benefit the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Class of 2007.


Westminster Presents Chamber Music on February 11

The Westminster Choir College of Rider University Faculty Recital Series will continue on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at 3 p.m. with a performance of chamber music by Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms in Bristol Chapel on the Westminster campus in Princeton.


Westminster Faculty Recital "Contrast in Sound" Is February 3

Westminster faculty member and pianist James Goldsworthy will be joined by guest artists, Judith Bettina, soprano, and Peter Jarvis, percussion, for a recital entitled “Contrast in Sound” on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 8 p.m. in The Playhouse on the campus of Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton.
