MUSICAL THEATER
The Westminster Conservatory Actors Company

Originally founded as a student theater group at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, The Westminster Conservatory Actors Company became the resident theater company of Westminster Conservatory in 2002. Known for its “passion and intensity” by the Princeton Packet, the company has presented over 20 productions at Westminster Choir College, Princeton University, and at venues in New York City and Philadelphia. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Nathan Brewer, the company continues to focus on children’s musical theater and provides students with performing opportunities throughout the year.



Broadway Babies
Grades 1-2

Sing and dance down the Great White Way in this energetic ensemble! Having fun is number one in this classroom. Basic lessons in voice, dance, and acting will be learned while preparing songs from musicals like The Sound of Music and Peter Pan for performances throughout the year. Princeton location only.

Sing Your Heart Out!
Grades 3-5
Do you find yourself unable to stop singing in the shower or dancing down the halls? Join the crowd! Tap those toes along with 30 of the area's most enthusiastic young performers. New and experienced students will shine in this ensemble as they learn and perform songs from shows like High School Musical and Hairspray. Performance dates will be scheduled throughout the year. Princeton location only.

Musical Theater Workshop
Grades 6-8
Students with a love for musical theater and a desire to develop their craft will enjoy lessons in acting, dance, and voice. Structured as an acting class, special topics in musical theater will be explored based on the requests and concerns of the students. A performance to showcase the skills learned in the class will be performed for family and friends at the end of the year. Audition required. Princeton location only.

Advanced Musical Theater Workshop
Grades 9-12
Students with a passion for musical theater, experienced or curious, will feel at home within this dedicated group of singing and dancing actors. We will explore the answers to questions like...
• How do I engage my body when singing a solo?
• How do I nail a dance audition?
• How do I choose the right song?
• How do I prepare a monologue?
....and many other topics! Join the Actors Company as we push ourselves to our own personal limits, are exposed to new ideas and techniques, and learn from each other in a positive and encouraging environment. Advanced Musical Theater Workshop students will perform a studio production in New York City at the end of the year. Audition required. Princeton location only.
