Westminster Conservatory
Established in 1970, Westminster Conservatory is the community music school of Westminster College of the Arts of Rider University, serving the central New Jersey/eastern Pennsylvania area with private and group instruction. In addition to utilizing the facilities of the College, there are extension locations in Newtown and Yardley (Bucks County, PA), Lawrenceville, South Brunswick, and Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart in Princeton. The Conservatory offers superior faculty at all locations and tailors lessons, workshops, and classes to the needs of the individual student.
Study at the Conservatory provides a unique opportunity for musical growth. Individual instruction may be taken, exclusive of other course work, or students may choose a more structured approach through the Conservatory's Honors Music Program, which offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to build total musicianship and is available to gifted and highly motivated students.
Westminster Conservatory of Music is a nationally recognized institution, maintaining active membership in the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts. The Conservatory joined the National Guild as a provisional member in 1983 and was granted full membership in 1986.

40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
This is a very special year for all of us at Westminster Conservatory...families, faculty, staff, our community...we are celebrating 40 years of music making at Westminster!
We are proud to display our 40th Anniversary logo to commemorate this important milestone. We are planning a series of events from now through December of 2010 that highlight our school, our faculty, and our students.
The opening event in our 40th Anniversary Celebration was held on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Bart Luedeke Student Center on the Rider University campus in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. This Anniversary Celebration featured Conservatory faculty performing in a special celebratory concert which was followed by a reception and silent auction. The funds that were raised will benefit student scholarships, faculty development, and the upkeep of musical instruments at the Conservatory.
