Vocal Repertoire from a Developmental Perspective: Choosing Appropriate Songs for Young Singing Students is a hands on, interactive seminar which will include creating an evaluating tool to determine level-appropriate vocal repertoire and a rating system for the difficulty of repertoire to be assigned. Vocalises will be designed to support the pedagogical goals associated with the repertoire assignments. Common technical issues for the male and female voice will be discussed along with solutions for those technical challenges through the choice of appropriate repertoire.
