"Your Solid Vocal Technique is Your Only Friend" - the continuing journey of Consistency, Brilliance and Distinction

This seminar offers a conceptual framework on vocal technique. A methodical approach will be introduced, suitable to beginners, advanced students, and professional performers. A power-point lecture will open the day with the following subjects:

  • Breath Management - The Key Factor
  • Consistency and Commitment
  • Technique and Diction
  • Technique and the Music Line
  • Vocalization

Individual coaching will follow the lecture in a master class format. Singers, teachers, and students wishing to sing should submit two or three choices of memorized arias/lieder, preferably in different languages, periods and styles. If the music is not from the standard repertoire, please send a copy to the office of Continuing Education at least three weeks prior to the seminar.
