Music Theater Workshop

Now in its fourteenth year and expanded to two weeks, the summer High School Music Theater Workshop is for high school performers who are Broadway bound.  Westminster faculty member Frank Abrahams is workshop coordinator and musical director.  He is joined by opera star Nova Thomas and Broadway star Carolann Page. Both are members of the Music Theater Program at Westminster.  Faculty members including Nancy Froysland Hoerl and Elem Eley will teach voice. All students will experience musicianship training through movement with guest professor Lucas Ciavatta from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Every participant performs in the concert version of a Broadway musical and many also perform in a showcase review.
