Composition Camp

Composition Week
June 29–July 4,2008
One-week program

Composition Week provides aspiring young composers with concentrated study in the funda¬mentals of composition. Through individualized attention, students of all levels of proficiency, from beginner to advanced, work with Westminster faculty members Stefan Young and Ron Hemmel. Students are taught and encouraged to expand their own creativity and technique in West¬minster’s Music Computing Center where students will have access to their own personal work stations. Classes in style, 20th century music and musical analysis focus on works by major composers.
