Commuter Life

Even if you do not live on campus, you are an important part of our community.  As a commuter student, you have several services available to you to help make your time on the Princeton campus more comfortable. Some of these things include:

  • Lockers- Commuter student lockers are available on a first come first serve basis by signing up in the Office of the Associate Dean of Students. Each student is responsible for bringing his or her own lock. The lockers are located on the ground floor of Talbott Library.
  • Commuter Lounge- The Commuter Lounge is located in the basement of the Student Center, and gives commuters a place to relax, eat, and check e-mail. A refrigerator and microwave are available for the storage and heating of food.
  • Parking Permits- Parking permits are available for commuting students free of charge through the Department of Public Safety, located in Bristol Chapel.
  • Meal Plans- Flexible meal plans are available for commuter students who would like to eat some of their meals on campus. Check out the Aramark website for more information on your options. Meal plans can be paid for at the Bursar's office located in Williamson Hall.
  • Off Campus Housing- An off campus housing listing for both campuses is maintained by the Office of Residence Life. Click here for more information.
