Princeton Campus
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Office of the Associate Dean of Students at the Princeton campus of Rider University, recognizing the special demands placed upon students of the arts, first and foremost seeks to create an environment that meets the health, safety, emotional, intellectual, and interpersonal needs of our students.
Through office initiatives, students are provided opportunities to gain an acceptance and appreciation for diverse lifestyles and perspectives. Furthermore, the concepts of personal responsibility, self-respect, and respect for others is emphasized and modeled within an ethical framework.
By partnering with students, parents, faculty, and staff, we seek to ensure that services and resources are created and managed based upon the varied and changing needs of our students.
Finally, through an emphasis on leadership, students are challenged to refine the skills necessary to contribute positively to their personal and professional communities.
The Office services Westminster students by:
- providing for health services
- administering the judicial services
- advising the Westminster Student Government Association and other activities
- planning and coordinating Orientation Week and Family Weekend
- providing recreational resources
- overseeing services for special student populations, such as commuters, international students, disabled students, adult students, and minority students.
