Summer 2010
Study Tours by Rider University enters its sixth year with high expectations. Exciting changes are in store for the five North American destinations. Summer 2010 is shaping up to be the most exciting year on record.

Rider University
Lawrenceville, New Jersey
Rider Photo Tour
The Rider Experience located on Rider University’s Lawrenceville, New Jersey campus is located just outside the New York metropolitan area. On-campus amenities include Olympic-size indoor swimming pool, volleyball and tennis courts, state-of-the-art fitness center and recreation center, game room, and on-site Starbucks.
Incorporating the best of the East Coast sites and cities, program highlights include a cruise of the New York Harbor, an overnight stay in Washington, D.C. – the nation’s capital, Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a Broadway show, dinner at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square, and world class shopping on New York’s Fifth Avenue.

Claremont, California
Claremont, California at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains is a picturesque town with all the charm of the west coast. Claremont will also serve as your headquarters for the California Experience. The campus, know for its Californian landscapes and mountain views will place you just forty minutes from the city center of Los Angeles. Plenty of open spaces for recreation, an outdoor swimming pool, and just a 15 minute walk to the town center of Claremont, this campus is ideal for your California study holiday.
While on the west coast, you will soak up the sun while visiting some of the hottest beaches in the USA. The Pacific Ocean is ideal for surfing, swimming and watching the sunset. You will feel like a movie star after visiting Hollywood Boulevard and shopping in Beverly Hills. To top it all off you will spend a day at Universal Studios and an overnight in San Diego. This fifteen-day California adventure will be filled with culture, sunshine, and maybe even a celebrity or two?

The Florida Experience will have you bathing in sunshine on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Accommodations in Melbourne, Florida put you in the middle of all that central Florida has to offer. This site’s manicured tropical landscapes and exquisite rooms will make your stay very enjoyable. Campus amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, recreation fields, lounge space, chocolate shop, and commissary.
Full-day excursions to NASA’s John F. Kennedy Space Center, SeaWorld, and two days in the theme parks of Walt Disney World are just a few of the program highlights. Also included is an overnight stay in Miami, Florida with a visit to the bustling South Beach, Miami’s Art Deco district and world class shopping on Ocean Drive.

Wellesley, Massachusetts
Culture and history will surround you during the Boston Experience. A small liberal arts college will serve as your headquarters, just minutes from the downtown city center and harbor. Beautiful views and open spaces, with state-of-the-art facilities describe this active college campus.
While on your vacation you will visit historic Boston sites while walking the Freedom Trail and spending an evening in prestigious Harvard Yard, home to Harvard University. Enjoy a tour of the city’s many neighborhoods by land before splashing into the water for a breathtaking view of the waterfront while on board the popular ‘Duck Tours.’ Spend your afternoons whale watching, exploring museums, and shopping throughout the city during this program.

The Canadian Experience provides up close encounters with some of the most magnificent natural wonders of the world. Highlights include a full day to Niagara Falls and a boat ride, water sports on a lake, a day trip to Toronto, a tour of the beautiful castle, Casa Loma, and a full day to North America’s premiere amusement park, Canada’s Wonderland. An overnight trip to Canada's capitol, Ottawa, showcases Canada's history and government through its museums and parliament buildings, along with its natural beauty while aboard a disco river cruise.
